Summary

After a terrifying brush with death, feisty TV personality Cassandra Benn decides to embrace the quiet life. Yet on the eve of her departure to the idyllic Penny Lake leisure village, fifteen-year old Evie arrives on her doorstep, claiming to be Cassie's long-lost granddaughter. Whilst Evie's arrival promises a new lease of life, the joy of their reunion is quickly threatened by a sinister web of secrets, forcing Cassie to grapple with the painful memory of the daughter she gave up for adoption.
