In 2020 during the COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns, City Libraries established a number of staggered responses to allow customers access to library services and collections. 'Browse and Borrow' the stage 3 response operated from 11th July to 13th September 2020"Borrow up to 50 items with a 4 week loan period. Pick up hold when available, no bookings required. Express 30-minute PC sessions. No printing, photocopying, scanning and Wi-Fi. No newspapers. No seating areas and meeting rooms.
