Summary
Councillor Bill Birmingham, was with the Albert Shire Council from 1949-1976. Prior to that he was a Councillor with the Nerang Shire from 1946-1949. Mr Birmingham received the O.B.E. in the Queens Birthday Honours. During his long term as a councillor Mr Birmingham was Chairman of the Works committee. He retired from council affairs in 1976
