Paul Scanlan oval is situated in the centre of the image, to the right of this can be seen the Paradise Point Bowls Club. Pine Ridge Regional Park is located towards the top centre of the image, much of the undisturbed forest to the right of this area is now residential housing. Boat Harbour Park is situated at the end of the boat filled inlet in the image known as Boat Harbour. Slades Paradise Point Marine is located on the left edge of the Boat Harbour inlet. Marina Promenade begins in the lower left corner of the image, flowing into Paradise Parade at the corner and continuing up through the centre of the image. The Esplanade runs along the ocean foreshore from the lower left, becoming Bayview Street at the first curve. This Image was taken before the constuction of the Oxley Drive - Hope Island Road. A small portion of Ephraim Island can be seen on the centre left edge, the connecting bridge to Paradise Point has not yet been constructed. Runaway Bay Shopping Centre can be seen towards the top left corner of the image.
