Summary
1930's America is stuck in the Depression but in Hollywood, business is booming. Movies are a cutthroat business and, as Kitty Pangborn is about to find out, that's not a metaphor. Her boss, P.I. Dexter Theroux, has been asked to help exonerate star Laird Wyndham, the last person seen with a starlet who died under suspicious circumstances.
