Summary
When old H.B. Bennett, the state's richest banker, pitted his strength against the mighty Cobra Copper Company, everyone expected fireworks. But not this! Whiskey by the hundreds of barrels! Beefsteak by the ton! And girls - the entire chorus of a New York show! For old H.B. had his heart set on becoming US Senator - and nothing was too good for his constituents. So H.B. sent his son, Fred (F.J.) Bennett, to the state to campaign for him, even though Fred had turned his back on politics in the past. Fred would rather be working on the lyrics for his new operetta with his partner, Raffles. But Fred had his own reasons for accepting his father's offer, he was smitten with Maureen O'Keefe, the daughter of his father's rival!
