The view includes Kinkabool, the first high rise built on the Gold Coast. The building has a car park in the basement and shops at ground level, and this design feature anticipated the basic elements of later high rise development. The local paper described it at the time as a "10 storied giant". The building has 34 units, four on most floors, with two "penthouses" on the top floor. The architects were Lund Hutton and Newell, Brisbane. The building is now heritage listed
