Summary
1989. Legends and murder stalk the Scottish Lochs. A death threat has been made on the life of a young man set to inherit the best part of a vast estate. Inspectors Frey and 'Nine-Nails' McGray answer a desperate plea to offer him protection and leave Edinburgh for the remote Loch Maree. Finding themselves staying in the grand home of the aristocratic Mr and Mrs Koloman and their beautiful and brilliant twin daughters, the inspectors are determined to discover what is behind the threat and return home as soon as possible. But the lochs here are full of legends, brutal, dark and mysterious. And Frey and McGray soon realise that there is far worse here than the stories. It is not long before a gruesome death casts suspicion on everyone on the island. Someone here is a killer. And everyone may be in danger
