Summary

Arthur Prescott takes refuge in Barchester Cathedral Library, where he can nurture his fascination with the Holy Grail and research his perennially unfinished guidebook to the medieval cathedral. When Bethany Davis arrives in Barchester, charged with digitizing the library's manuscripts, Arthur's tranquility is broken, until learning that Bethany is a kindred spirit and Grail enthusiast.
