This series of images shows an area between South Stradbroke Island; and west to the Albert River; including Ormeau, Norwell, Jacobs Well, Kingsholme, Pimpama, Tamborine, Cedar Creek, Wongawallan, Coomera, Hope Island, Paradise Point, Hollywell, North Tamborine, Eagle Heights, Upper Coomera, Oxenford, Helensvale, Coombabah, Runaway Bay, Biggera Waters, Guanaba, Maudsland, and Gaven. The images show Coomera River, Tamborine Mountain, Pimpama River, and Coombabah Lake. The photographs were taken from a vertical aspect at a height of 12,500 metres on 14 October 1979. The album includes a map of the area with place names highlighted to assist in identifying locations for each image.
