Summary
utobiographical drama written and directed by Chilean film-maker Alejandro Jodorowsky. The film follows Jodorowsky (Adan Jodorowsky/Jeremâias Herskovits) from his teenage years, where he longs to become a poet despite the objections of his oppressive father (Brontis Jodorowsky), to ingratiating himself into Chile's artistic scene at the bohemian Cafâe Iris in downtown Santiago in the 1940s. It's there that he befriends fellow poets including Enrique Lihn (Leandro Taub), Stella Dâiaz Varâin (Pamela Flores) and Nicanor Parra (Felipe Râios) and gives himself over to some wild new experiences while trying to find his place in the world
