Japan - retired husband syndrome

Looks at a new phenomenon sweeping Japan, called Retired Husband Syndrome - a form of a severe, debilitating stress that can potentially lead to suicide. Discovered by Dr Nobuo Kurokawa, it also has physical aliments such skin rashes, ulcers, asthma and high blood pressure which can result in heart attack and stroke, and seems to mainly affect Japanese middle age women. The film looks at three couples where the woman suffers from the syndrome
