Summary

Ever since the sudden deaths of his parents, seventeen-year-old Hugh has developed a serious preoccupation with endings -- one that gets a little complicated when he discovers that high-school outcast Olivia Moon can't die. He agrees to drive Olivia to New York to retrieve a crate of her most treasured possessions -- stealing his sister's precious ice cream van in the process. But the road to NYC is bumpy and full of unexpected turns, including Hugh's growing feelings for Olivia.
