The uninhabited island nestled within the Isle of Capri is Girung Island. The bridge connecting Clifford Street with Paradise Island is located towards the lower centre of the image. The Gold Coast Highway runs parallel with the Nerang River, becoming Rememberance Drive at the Capri Bridge, then Ferny Avenue towards the bottom right corner of the image. Surfers Paradise Boulevard runs diagonally below this across the lower left corner. The Surfers Paradise Bowls Club can be seen in the lower right corner. The land that is to become Albert Park is located towards the top right.
