- Greyhound racing has a contentious history in New South Wales, 2017 was not the first time that its existence was threatened, and it probably won't be the last. Now, for the first time, a comprehensive history of the sport has been collected, deftly charting the highs and lows from coursing and tin-hare racing all the way through to the current controversies.
