Summary
The Governor of Queensland, Sir Henry Abel Smith and Lady May said farewell to 10,000 school children at Southport, Miami and Coolangatta. They also had lunch with 31 school pupils from the 31 schools of the Gold Coast. The lunch was held at the new Coolangatta Surf Club pavilion.
