This series of images shows an area from from the mouth of the Logan River in the vicinity of Lagoon Island, Moreton Bay; and south to Upper Coomera; including Redland Bay, Woongoolba, Cabbage Tree Point, Steiglitz, Jacobs Well, Norwell, Ormeau, Pimpama, Willow Vale, Yawalpah, the Pacific Highway, and the South Coast Railway line. Image 11 shows Behm Creek in the vicinity of the future site of the Horizon Shores real estate development. Image 14 shows the Pimpama River. Image 16 shows Hotham Creek at Willow Vale. The photographs were taken from a vertical aspect at a height of 13,000 feet on 8 July 1964. The album includes a map of the area with place names highlighted to assist in identifying locations for each image.
