Summary
This series of images shows an area from Molendinar and south to Carrara and Merrimac; including the South Coast Railway line and rail bridge over the Nerang River, and the Merrimac/Carrara floodplain. The images also show the Molendinar water treatment plant; and possibly Eagle Park Raceway, the Gold Coast Motor Cycle Club at Ashmore, in images 015 and 016. The photographs were taken from a vertical aspect at a height of 3,500 feet on 6 July 1964. The album includes a map of the area with place names highlighted to assist in identifying locations for each image.
