"Coolangatta, Q'land, Saturday 24/11/1917. My Dear Brother, We received your lovely card yesterday. Jove! they are pretty. The little photo of yourself is good. I am writing a letter but will send this card separate. Of course it is C'gatta and I've put a little arrow mark over our house on the hill. We get a glorious view from our verandah. I am sending you some magazines etc. Fancy you receiving a Queenslander & magazine and to think I've sent dozens and you've only got two. Hope some parcels turn up. Am getting another one ready.
