Leonard and Kathleen Shillam were sculptors of the Braodbeach Seal, with was in Lennons Broadbeach Hotel and later moved to the Broadbeach State School and then the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Also the Black Dolphin in the Black Dolphin Arcade, Surfers Paradise. The Gold Coast City Art Gallery selected five Shillam works of art in November 1978
