Summary
Ally Hilfiger, daughter of fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger, shares her 11 year struggle with misdiagnosis, mental warfare, and an eventual diagnosis and recovery from Lyme disease. Ally was at a breaking point when her father put her in a psych ward at the age of eighteen. They had seemingly exhausted all resources, but something was wrong. She had struggled since she was seven years old with uncomfortable symptoms that no doctor could explain, and was now pushed to a spiritual and mental emergency by the mysterious maladies plaguing her body, her own forms of self-medication with pot and alcohol, and the notoriety gained by producing and starring on one of the first reality shows, "Rich Girls. "After eleven years of unanswered questions, she found herself in a psych ward, where she learned that she, in fact, had Lyme disease. It was there that she began her journey to diagnosis and recovery after eleven years of misdiagnosis and physical pain
