Summary
Skin deep: Even movie stars have regrets, and Chantel O'Hurley is no exception. With her family far away and her mansion empty, she feels all the more isolated now that she is being threatened. With no one to turn to, she hires a private investigator, but there is certainly no comfort in the judgemental Quinn Doran. He looks like he was carved out of stone, and he is just as intractable. But in that hardness is a promise: 'I will keep you safe.' Can she break through his boundaries to get to his heart? Without a trace: With everything he's seen and done, Trace O'Hurley is past redemption. Anything flame-haired Irish beauty Gillian Fitzpatrick might try to say to convince him otherwise is just sweet talk to get him to save her brother. But with nothing left to lose, he starts to believe the impossible, that he can help take down a terrorist organisation, and maybe seek forgiveness. With Gillian's help, this long-lost brother might be able to become one of the O'Hurleys again
