Album includes images of Governors Sir Matthew Nathan in 1922 and Sir Henry Abel Smith with his wife Lady May in 1958 and then 1966 on their farewell tour of the Gold Coast accompanied by the City of Gold Coast, Alderman and Mrs Ern Harley the Mayor and Mayoress, they attended a Tropical Luncheon held at the Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club. Ern Harley drove them in a vintage 1908 Renault from Gilltraps Auto Museum and school children from all over the Gold Coast attended the parade and listened to speeches from all the dignitaries
