Summary
Kennys Department Store is the jewel in the Irish town of Ardaghs crown. Star Bluestone sells her beautifully crafted tapestries at Kennys and has a special reason for caring about Kennys beyond her sales. Meanwhile for Ingrid Fitzgerald, wife of David Kenny, the store is the 'other woman' in her marriage. Charlie Fallon, one of Davids staff, is one of the first to hear the rumour that Kennys is facing a takeover bid.
