Summary
They have nothing in common: he's ten years older and a self-made businessman; she's a hippie with a rebellious streak. Despite external differences, they share many passions, including bad movies and scotch. But Abigail is convinced that Eliot is an arrogant playboy, though he's really not. Her middle class family is very proud of their success and humble beginnings. Eliot can't understand why Abigail rejects tradition, elegance and history. But Abigail begins to see her own life through Eliot's eyes, and becomes determined to set aside her childishness. She sets up a respected foundation for women in need. During Paris Fashion Week, Abigail's shoe designer sister-in-law orchestrates a meeting of the former lovers. Finally committed to a future together, Abigail invites Eliot for a family weekend, only to have all hell break loose
