Isle of Capri is still farming land and undeveloped. The image illustrates the original course of Ferry Road leading to the edge of Goat or Chevron Island where Meyers Ferry crossed the Nerang River prior to the canal being placed to separate the areas. The area near Bundall where the Gold Coast City Council administration offices were located in the 1970s can be seen as farmland with the farm house able to be seen. Paradise Island has been cleared ready for development on the middle left
