Summary
Striving for enlightenment by way of the sword, Miyamoto Musashi is prepared to cut down anyone who stands in his way. Vagabond is an action-packed portrayal of the life and times of the quintessential warrior-philosopher--the most celebrated samurai of all time! Musashi continues to battle a different type of foe when he comes to the aid of an orphaned boy and tries to enrich the soil of a barren land. Will he be able to single-handedly take on the forces of nature in the manner that he took on the seventy swordsmen of the Yoshioka dojo? Or will a devastating famine ravage the village?
