Summary
Portfolio of digital cadastral base maps of the Gold Coast region from Edens Landing, Queensland; to Tweed Heads, New South Wales; overprinted to show the projected impact of climate change on flood levels to the year 2100, based on an assumed sea level rise of 0.8m during the 100 year period from 2000-2100. Flood projections have been calculated for properties on the Merrimac/Carrara Floodplain; and in the vicinity of the Logan River, Coomera River, Nerang River, the Broadwater, Tallebudgera Creek, Currumbin Creek, and the Tweed River; based on a 'worst-case scenario' involving possible severe weather events combined with a possible higher sea level. The flood events described are potential only, and may never eventuate
