There are locks all over the house, on each of the doors and windows, and I make sure they're all locked before I have a shower or go to bed. The house has the best home security money can buy, so there are little panels everywhere and security screens over each door that leads outside, and we've been assured that if anything happens, help will be here in minutes. Not that you always have minutes if you get attacked. We have taken every precaution, though, so maybe I should feel safe, but I don't: I honestly doubt I'll ever feel safe anywhere again. After someone tries to kill you, being safe is a notion that goes out the window
