Summary
Barney Boulton's wharf was on the Southport side of the Nerang River, near the site of the Southport Hotel (later the Sundale Shopping Centre and later still the Brighton on Broadwater high-rise apartments). The boats appear to be rowboats for hire. Their names include Iris, Isis, Iola(?), Ibex and Irex. A larger boat, the Irene, can be seen in the background
