Summary
In early 2022, the East Coast of Australia experienced a once in a hundred years flood event, blanketing much of Queensland and New South Wales in water. Schools and kindergartens across QLD were closed. So with time on their hands, two little Aussie girls, one aged six and the other four, set about painting watercolor pictures of Aussie heroes for a charity book their mother would compile. 'Heroes in the Mud' is a 24-page children's book/school reader that tells the story of the floods and celebrates the people who risked their own safety to help others
