Summary
The Gold Coast City Council's administration centre was officially opened on 11 September 1976. At the time it was considered one of the finest in Australia featuring the glass atrium. The building also contained a time capsule. Alan Griffith was the architect. The book includes interviews and reminiscences with past Mayors, Councillors and staff regarding construction, development and working in the administration building. Also includes information regarding the proposed transformation to the Cultural Precinct
