Turner of Hanford Road, ZillmereOther actors in the movie were Michael Pate, John O'Malley, Thelma Scott and also welterweight boxing champion Tommy BurnsThe movie was based on the real live adventures of the O'Reilly family as told by Bernard O'Reilly in his book 'Green Mountains'. This was the set at the Natural Bridge on Cave Creek in Numinbah Valley. The cast and crew were accommodated in the guesthouses Chigigum and Pop-Inn and the local hall in Numinbah Valley. Four years of planning and filming were involved and the film premiered at the Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane in 1949.
