Summary

In the midst of the ruthless expansion of the Mongol Empire and the unstoppable Crusades spreading across Europe, a simple hunter named Maansi travels towards the sea, where he knows he'll find nothing but death. After tragically losing his wife when their village was attacked, Maansi, accompanied by his dog, Noho, begins his long voyage in search of the mythical island of the dead: Buyan. But the journey becomes fraught with danger. Maansi and Noho come face-to-face with bloodythirsty warriors, religious zealots, and ancient spirits who have also been affected by the war.
