Summary
On set photographer was E. H. Turner of Hanford Road, ZillmereThe movie was based on the real live adventures of the O'Reilly family as told by Bernard O'Reilly in his book 'Green Mountains'. The cast and crew were accommodated in the guesthouses Chigigum and Pop-Inn and the local hall in Numinbah Valley. Scenes were filmed at the Natural Bridge, the current Prison Farm area and on the Yaun's property call Bithongabel paddock. The day's rushes were viewed nightly in the local hall with many locals involved as extras or as crew. Hugh Guinea was also featured with his bullock team.--Information taken from F.
