Summary
Explores the 1964 murder case in which three civil rights workers were killed by the Ku Klux Klan in Mississippi. In June 2005, having failed to charge anyone with the crime for over 40 years despite knowing the culprits, Mississippi decided to act and Edgar Ray Killen stood trial. This programme re-opens the case and looks again at the harsh conditions that led to the killings
