This view looks west towards Bundall. The ferry landed in the vicinity of the present day lake and park area behind the Gold Coast City Council offices at Bundall. Prior to work canal near Chevron Island a narrow isthmus connected Bundall to Chevron Island and this road connected to Ferry Road through to Southport
