Summary
Series 2 continues the lively saga of Ormston, where resident doctor Tom Gilder sets out to find the parents of an abandoned 6 year-old deaf girl. Tom's wife, Deborah, not only deals with the unwelcome arrival of her mother but faces the prospects of arranging a wedding for her in Ormston. Meanwhile, ever the fortune hunter, Wilf goes diving for lost treasure in the local reservoir, but is later forced to deal face-to-face with the wartime death of his brother.
