"Language of Childbirth is an English language resource designed for migrant women having babies in Australian hospitals. The resource aims to improve the language and literacy skills of women from non-English speaking backgrounds who may not be able to attend mainstream classes. It also aims to provide women with accessible information so that they are better informed about antenatal and postnatal issues and can make informed choices in relation to their pregnancy, birth and parenting.
