Summary

Still adjusting to life in the 70s, time travelling DI Sam Tyler finds ways to apply 21st-century know-how to the team's archaic crime investigating methods. Tyler's penchant for following procedure, however, continues to be put to the test by his rough-and-ready boss, DCI Gene Hunt, who prefers to follow his gut and generally do whatever it takes to get the job done.
