Summary
The Gold Coast City Council Conservation Committe consisted of Town Clerk, Mr Arthur Angove, Chairman Ald. Mick Carey, Ald. Robert Thorn and Ald. Carl Robertson. They are met with Government representative Mrs J. Bimrose of the Co-Ordinator General's Environmental Control section. The purpose of the visits was to assess sites to be allowed to regenerate naturally and restore balance of natural and man-made areas. This included Burleigh Hill to the west and also Currumbin Hill
