Summary
Lady Lilith Montgomery, daughter of the sixth Duke of Radnor, is one of the most beautiful young women in Edwardian London, and is engaged to the city's most eligible bachelor. But behind closed doors, Lilith has another, darker, life: as a witch of the Lazarus Coven, instructed in the arts of necromancy. When her father dies, she takes over his role as Head Witch. She has spent her entire life honouring the Lazarus code of secrecy and silence. To break it would put the coven and her family in grave danger. Then she meets Bram. Bram is neither a witch nor a member of her class, yet Lilith falls for him. For the first time in her life, her loyalties are thrown into question. Can she keep secrets from the man she loves? Will she betray the coven and her family?
