Summary
The Gold Coast Bridge was officially opened on Friday 16 December 1966 by the Governor, Sir Alan Mansfield replacing the Jubilee Bridge. Also seen in the photograph is the Southport Hotel in the upper left corner. Centre is Humphrey's Boat Shed and centre left is the Southport Yacht Club
