Summary

How much would you pay to survive? Mum-of-three Ronni Ashcroft is piecing her life back together after being betrayed by her husband. She's running a successful guest house on a remote spur of the Scottish Highlands, and has met a new man - the enigmatic Bishop. But Bishop has secrets. He's connected to a network of criminals and has big plans to turn this part of the Ardnamurchan peninsula into a European gateway for drugs, guns - and something far worse. He's out of his depth. But before he can confide in Ronni, he disappears. Ronni needs to know what happened to the man she briefly fell for. Is he dead or alive? Was she just his play-thing from the start or does he desperately need her help?
