When you're with old friends at this quiet Yorkshire beauty-spot, fun and games are always just around the corner. There's Howard, trying to hide from Pearl the giant singing garden gnome he's bought for Marina. There's Billy Ingleton (Norman Wisdom), restoring a fairground organ, and of course, there's Wesley. Not content with a vending machine that belches inappropriate, untimely noises, he's got a flaming mobile barbeque that's a danger to low-flying aircraft, and a havoc-causing hydraulic digger that's the spirit of a prehistoric beast
