Summary
This view is looking south towards the new Grand Hotel. The park on the edge of the Broadwater is Harely Park. The park is named after a former mayor of the Gold Coast, Ern Harley. He was mayor from 1958-1967 and also an alderman from 1970-1973. He came to Southport in 1945 and built the first seafood business on the Broadwater at Labrador
