"At Margaret Avenue, Broadbeach miniature lakes on the roadside after heavy rain will soon be a memory. The council is preparing for a major underground drainage job, estimated to cost $15,600. It will drain a large area around Margaret Avenue stretching from Old Burleigh Road to the Highway and emptying into Little Tallebudgera Creek.
