Summary
UCLA film archivist and sometime film detective Valentino doesn't take friend Beata Limerick seriously when she says she quit acting because of a curse on blond actresses. Marylin Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Thelma Todd, Sharon Tate. They all had more fun, but none made it out of the business alive. Then Valentino finds Beata's body staged the way Monroe was found, and knows her death was no accident. At first he's a suspect. Then police detective Ray Padilla enlists Valentino's help in catching a serial killer of doomed blonds
