Summary
When Irish Famine oprhan Biddy Blackwell arrives in Melbourne aboard the Eliza Caroline, she expects her brother Ewen to be waiting for her. He is her only surviving relative and the only reason she agreed to leave Ireland and journey to Australia. But Ewen is not there to greet her, and Biddy is sent out of Melbourne to work on a farm.
