Summary

After eighteen series and 372 episodes, the Aidenfield Arms draws its last pint and the Ashfordly Police will solve their last case as this much loved series finally draws to an end with its final series. In this series, an old villain returns to Aidensfield and has a score to settle with the Ashfordly police. New village bobby PC Joe Mason (Joe McFadden) is kept busy with gangsters, forged currency, domestic disputes and violent robberies. As always, old favourites Peggy (Gwen Taylor) and David (David Lonsdale) are up to their usual tricks getting into new scraps and schemes. A few Aidensfield locals also make a trip outside Yorkshire as PC Joe Mason, DS Rachel Dawson and district nurse Carol Cassidy head to Australia to trace former Aidensfield garage mechanic Rosie
